1. Functions of the Executive Committee

The Institute was incorporated on 25th June 2008 as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. The Executive Committee (‘Exco’) serves the same functions as the board of directors of a company limited by shares. It manages the day-to-day affairs of the Institute and is responsible to members at general meetings. 

Exco members serve a term of two years if elected by members at general meetings (or until the next AGM if appointed by the Executive Committee).

Members (but not associates) of the Institute may elect (or be elected as) Exco members.
